Adversity to Empowerment

In 2015, I hit rock bottom. I was in pain and despair, watching the young, healthy woman I once knew fade away. I didn’t recognize myself anymore. Confusion, rejection, and fear consumed me, and I worried that the pain I was experiencing would define my existence. Through my tears, I thought, “If this is how my life is going to be, then I’m ready to be done.”

Relationships are a vital part of our lives. We are constantly interacting with other people. Whether or not we are getting along with the important people in our lives determines, to a large extent, the quality of our lives. Make it a point to be conscious when you are making new connections and building relationships.

A Sister’s View

Not many people have the privilege of describing an entrepreneur’s lifetime journey—the trials, victories, heartaches, and joys—all viewed from the sideline only a sibling can occupy. Such is the case with my sister, Nancy Haller, and me. Her bio is impressive, and her work is notable.
